I'm excited about:

- A pile o'books. I have always been and will always be a book person.
- Control - The Joy Division biopic directed by Anton Corbijn. No secret that I'm a big Joy Division fan. And it's in black and white too which is awesome.
- Joy Division - A documentary by Grant Gee. Suddenly Joy Division is everywhere. Not that I'm complaining.
- A trip to the rolling hills of the Quebec countryside.
- This place reeks of basil waiting to be made into pesto. Actually it kind of smells like cat pee which basil tends to do in large quantities. Actually I hate the smell but I like the IDEA of all that future pesto.
- Thursday market, warm beverages, and conversation with a friend.
- A nice fall evening walk.
- I am the subject of Monkey Toast this coming Sunday (8pm) at The Gladstone Hotel. Basically they interview me and then an improv team creates a spontaneous comedy sketch based on the content of the interview. I am a little scared but also incredibly curious to see how this plays out. I've been assured that I won't be publicly humiliated. Ha!

Song: Lover's Spit Broken Social Scene. Has been on repeat via various music-listening devices over the last 24 hours.
